I know we have the frp/layered carbon ones out there the usual ones that most people rock... but check these wider puppies out.. would be awesome for us grip folks and well... even drift guys who wana go negative crazy heh

Well to each their own. Old school race cars rocked these kind of flares.

Some people hated this guy's ride some people loved it. I love it. Depends how you put it together.

Just because you were in high school when he built that car doesn't make it "So far ahead of the scene", it just means you were late to the scene. There were plenty of other clean, good looking cars back then, with great fitment, his was not the only one.

Also, the flares were made for a Z, he modified them and molded them in.

Basically during that time it was mostly West Coast (California) cars that knew what they were doing. While those on the mid west and east coast didn't.

Ummm they do make those fenders, i beleave they are 6666 bunny fenders that is off a some euro site. Cant remember which one though but i remember they sell them

They are vented, but someone find the pic so you can see how square flares dont fit a rounded car.

Box and square flares are for boxy and square cars (datsun 510, E30, Mercedes, etc.)

I was just about to ask that. It didn't appear that those were some cheap rivet on extensions. That looks like an actual fender pull on all 4 corners and IMO I think that car looks great.

yeah, some guy hand crafted those into the fender of the blue s13.. so, technically, its the only one of its kind.. lol

Those were just regular flares bondoed onto the stock fenders, I know cause I asked.... They were cracked when I saw them sometime last year.... More pain in the ass than anything.... If you have $$$ Have a sheetmetal work just weld it... Its not that difficult....

mine are actually more of a "bubble" style flare....the JUN ones are very similar to ZG flares.
