That's the complete wrong way of doing it. You need to fix that immediately. If you connect your green wire from the turn signal to your black wire on the side marker you will have a HUGE amount of problems if your head lights are turned on. Why? because you'll be sending a positive pulse to a negative wire and then you have trouble.
