THIS IS NOT A GROUP BUY THREAD, NOR AN ADVERTISEMENT.

Alright guys and gals I have been emailing back and forth with wheeldude.com trying to get a set of Yamaha Black Rota Torques in the size 17x9.5 +12 offset in 5x114 bolt pattern (sorry 4 lug guys :P), but the only way to get these is through a group buy.

This is just and interest thread, BUT if anyone here is interested in some Yamaha Black Rota Torques in 17x9.5 +12 offset sizing (THIS IS NOT A THREAD FOR DIFFERENT ROTAS OR DIFFERENT SIZES. THIS IS ONLY FOR THE SPECIFIC WHEEL, COLOR AND SIZING LISTED) please post in this thread so we can make this happen

I emailed them asking about the pricing for this set of wheels and as soon as I hear back from them I will update the thread with a price.

As stated in the title we only need 3-4 people to get these wheels. This is direct copy and paster from the email they sent me:

"As long as we have at least 3-4 people interested we can have the wheels custom made."

And here is the wheel if you don't know what it looks like.

Hopefully we can make this happen so post in this thread only if you for sure are interested and would pay for a set of these wheels.

There's already a Kai knockoff in 17x9.

I'd be interested if there was an 18x9.5 +10ish size.

I know that, but there isn't one in 17x9.5 and the 17x9s don't offer any lower than 30 offset iirc.

unless you get the drag dr31 which come in a 17 offset

um what makes em "yamaha" black, they look like regular black to me.
why couldnt you just get regular ones and have them painted or powdercoated on your own?

-_- that's the color listed on the wheeldude.com website.

the regular ones don't come in 17x9.5. they only offer 17x9 +30 offset.

get some prices before you start an interest thread...
I could be interested if they were below 450 bucks,
and not if they were above 500.
also..why not ask for 18" wheels?
since they are custom why go with pussy sizes?

Why go through work to make worse wheels?

And aren't a set of Rota's like $800 or something?

Might as well keep saving up and get something better.

Or just get Battles. They come in the sizes you are looking for and look alright.

Why would you want rotas ??? Cheap and dangerous. I'm not saying get some work, CCW's or Hre's but I'm sure u can afford some. Enkies, or something along those lines.

they make them in 18x9.5 +12, i thought about getting them for drift spares but i don't even like my CR Kai's that much haha

I was super juiced when i first got these rims 6 years ago because they are all i can afford. but now i rather spend a little more to get a decent set of rims rather than spend money on rotas. save a little more money and you could get a set of 5zigen, just my 2cent
