As far as food goes, let's figure out how much of each we need: water, utensils, plates, napkins, meat, etc etc. We'll put a cap on sign-ups.

Pretty much, there was an out come of like, what, 150 people to the Beginning of Summer BBQ? I can figure this out, it's just my brain isn't cooperating with me right now; I need to work on my mustang, then after that's out of the way, I can crunch some numbers lol.

ehh either way i think its gonna be rly hard to estimate the exact amt of food/utensils needed :/ i signed up to be there, but i didnt bring anything.. so i didnt eat.
i mean, if EVERYONE is 'supposed' to bring something, there should automatically be enough for everyone right? lol maybe each person should only bring enough for like 4-5 ppl.. not 20? putting a cap on sign-ups sounds good to me

The End of Summer BBQ is usually much smaller than the Beginning of Summer BBQ. We can't plan for 150 people for this one.

I only think there was so much "extra" because of Teddy's mention, and then Chris and I letting everyone have it.

And in the end guys, couple bags of chips, bag of chicken, 8 beef patties, couple 2 literes of soda and several packs of cheap hot dogs really isnt that much extra.
Especially for the turn out.

It is always better to have a little to much then to be leaving people hungry.

Oh yeah, that green verde salsa wasnt opened...............I think thats a crime cause it looked GOOD!

the food supply was excellent since we were able to feed so many...

well the beach spot i know exactly where we have had it the past few years. its sunset beach i think, the name is. accross from jack in the box on pch and warner.

um. as far as how much food was left.

we had about 15 bags of chips. which is cool cuz it can be taken home.

the most sad thing was that 30$ bag of chicken not cooked. there was like 6 bags of hot dug buns. everyone left the trash...... they need to be a lil more responsible and tidy. were not 12 year old kids with our moms at the party to clean up the shit. and its somewhat unfair to force it on 1 or 2 people. kinda like how 1 or 2 people cook the entire time....people should offer to help a bit more. how bout them apples. just my opinion.

anyway i will help organize the end of summer bbq if the "committee" needs me. i am now free from HELL in valley center. so i can become a meet whore again for awhile.

oh and last thing. the people who want a middle of summer BBQ....you need to just go to one of the MANY weekly meets in socal.

we actually had about 4-5 people cooking...me and mehsilvia were cooking burgers and hot dogs...

Hamburgler was cooking the chicken, and some other guys (name escapes me) were cooking carne asada...

but in the begining it was just me and chris...but really, there were only 3 small grills...and we had it under control...

it just got hot...lol
