I grabbed a couple of new gt28 full ball bearing turbos from garrett. I was gonna put one on my sr20, but i wasn't sure if it was something i could do myself. What's involved in upgrading the turbo? Do I need to upgrade the fuel pump or injectors if I plan on running at about 12-15psi? Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated.

my uncle works for garrett, and the price wasn't too bad...i just had to wait about 6 months

"A Couple"?? That means you have extra...give me the specs, i may be interested, if of course, you are interested in selling one.

You should be running a front mount intercooler before running above 10PSI. The injectors are something that would maximize the upgrade, however you will need a piggyback fuel system or chipped ecu to get the true gains from the turbo and injectors. The fuel pump (if its stock) should be upgraded, though if you already have something like a walbro, 300ZX or Skyline GTR unit, you should be fine.

To truly milk your turbo upgrade, stock injectors are ok, larger ones are nice to have. When it comes to fuel, if you change one, you need to change the other. Otherwise you'll max something out, either the pump or the injectors. An intercooler be it front mount or top mount is a good thing to have as well. The three things mentioned are good to have and help make the most of what you got. On another note, I've also got a 300Z fuel pump for sale if you're interested in changing your fuel pump. Let me know..
