I never "complained" about driving distance. People who knows me knows that I am always down to go on a drive to where ever. We just wouldn't go down to irvine for a meet when there is a meet close by to where we are.

fyi, we "do" go down to pipeline meet, 562 meet, 626 meet if everyone's schedule is empty. So don't go around assuming things
