did you hammer flat the spline that was on the middle of the tub? It was cutting the middle of my tires and cutting chunks out of it.

Ya I bent it flat with pliers and then hammered it, I checked and it was rubbing on the fender tub. I just put a bunch of preload in it and it seems to have fixed the problem.
