oh btw, it's going to be hard to stick in the 500-600 budget for what you are trying to go for if you are building from scratch.
i7 cpu = 220+ 4gb memory = 100+ cheap 40-60gb ssd = 120-150+ decent gpu = 150+ you also need mobo = 150-250 psu = 100+ dvd/bdr = 20-100 case = ??
