sick of overpriced fs adds?

I was just looking thru the fs threads and I see thread after thread of barely modded s13 chassis for 4k!.

I was thinking maybe zilvia could somehow regulate the selling prices on cars and types of mods.

For example:super clean shells could sell for 1000 and crappy paint job shells for 500.

We could all as a forum come up with rules and guidlines to sell things better.

Regulate selling prices? It'll never happen. If we do something like that, then people won't sell stuff here.

Sorry but I really don't think that this is a good idea at all. Sale prices are entirely up to the owners.

haha at the rate these cars go. there will be no 240s left. i guess you can get more for a super clean 240. but not 4k

It would make buying and selling stuff on this site easier. There wouldn't be low balling cuz alll the prices are regulated. I realize it would be pretty difficult to do this with all the different styles for todays s chassis. Idk it was a thought that ppl could chat about haha

Dude, its called capitalism, if someone will pay what they're asking then good for them. Supply and demand, if there is a bunch of overpriced shells then the price will fall, but if you can't find shit and are pissed you can only find 2-3 cars that are priced higher then you want to spend then maybe you should research the current market more.

Ever hear of drift tax? The worst part is that people WILL pay $4k for a stock S13 with lowering springs because it's a popular car.

Besides, you ALWAYS put something for sale for a higher price than you want because people will talk you down.

#3. We have no right to tell people what they MUST sell things for. It will either sell to someone who WILL pay what they are asking, or they will lower the price when it doesn't sell.

We have enough work regulating the FS section. We are not going enable some Price-cap regulation.
