Try your math again.

1) 10x17 +25 = 11" total width from lip edge to lip edge. 6.5" backspace.

11 - 6.5 = 4.5" outward of the back pad/rotor surface

2) 11x13 -23 = 12" total width from lip edge to lip edge. 4.5" backspace.

12 - 4.5 = 6.5" outward of the back pad/rotor surface

3) 6.5 - 4.5 = 2"
