Belldandy's Diary
K everyone,this is another build thread. As you can see i dont post a lot on this site. so my organization of piling information together might be somewhat..off?
Regardless though, this thread is to put my thoughts together when Im up late at night to think over the progress and debate on decisions over my baby... NE who... Ladies and gentlemen of Zilvia I introduce you all to (dramatic intro music) Belldandy ![]() ![]() current mods Rb25 + trans Kei-Office cusco 2 way apexi avc-r (.70 on 65% duty) r33 brakes r32 seats alpine type-r speakers +10inch sub (pioneer headunit ![]() nismo solid shifter nismo 330f wheel cx racing (lmao i ****ING HATE THESE) front lower control arms, rucas. and the tie rod adjuster on the rear...Lower controll arm? lol correct me plz and lying around my garage is a freddy (i got broke down the road ><) plenum, new fmic, chinese (not proud of this) top mount exhaust mani. and a oil cooler also chinese. The freddy and chinese stuff are enjuku's "isis" brand. but i said **** enjuku and hit up the chinese manufacturers themselves and saved like...iono...150-200. im not sure if i should post that online....but who reads a forum named belldandy's diary..right? lol. Yah...i named my 240 belldandy. big deal.... Im not a fan at all of my cars current paint or front bumper cut out ordeal...but hey...its a "track" car right?? supposed to look...like...?? ![]() ![]() heres belldandy (dont think she looks hot here either) next to rukia (names starting to sound familier? lol) rukia's number is 1222. |

aight so we begin with this diary...(dont tell me it sounds gay...honestly dgaf. hate all you want but at the end of the day i own these two cars and i enjoy the fuck out of em..) dont mean to sound flame-anoid but...ppl love to flame on)
SO way back when i installed my avc-r and blew my motor on .9bar. reason why i tuned it down to .7. but i was overheating like a ****** ****** so i think i weakend my headgasket. ne who i blew my motor on the 91 west under the 55 conjunction. was so butt hurt i didn't get towed...i drove another 5-8 miles home. yah bad mistake i know..specially when my oil pressure read like...8 psi. (idle psi is round 20) (no i dont want to hear you bicker about what my psi should be as there is discrepancy as to were i mount my sensor..of course correct me if im wrong in thinking so. thus im rebuilding my motor. then i'll tweak out on my suspension coz it totally blowes. and my passenger kei office is blown and now my car rides like im on lowering springs. **** belldandy looks and rides like a ricer... ![]() |

its getting late so here are some pictures of my motor. its next 2 a 2jz i took apart for shits and giggles. well i haven't broken down a 6 cylinder before so i thought id practice on this guys 2j.
![]() ![]() ![]() im not sure what i'll do with this motor. the coolant channels in this one are pretty pitted and rusted. i do have another rb running in belldandy as im working on this one so i may pick and chose that short block and service the head of the blown rb while i prepare another car to use while i pull belldandy's heart out again. |

if you look closely can you see on pistons 1 and 6 how the tops are semi cleaned. Dyou guys think this is oil wash from bad rings (havn't feelerd em yet) or oil wash/ coolant wash from blowing my headgasket and driving the b*tch home?

today i painted my exhaust manifold
i sand blasted it earlier but forgot to take pictures of it ![]() ![]() lmao!! i **** earlier though... got over zelous and sprayed to close on my wastegate pipe and talk about...run off ![]() ![]() i was thinking of re sandblasting the ****er bu i decied id just bust out the sand paper real quick... looks good..yeah? ![]() |

you know... i actually dont like this exhaust mani. i hope belldandy doesn't cope a tune with it..non equal length pipes. and i dont know if you can see it in the picture but the pipe for cyl 1 looks beat up a bit... friggin cheap crap >< it better fight right...i hope.
well.... I sand blasted my valve covers. ![]() im so happy with it ![]() ![]() happy i dont have a sludge prob under my baff plates either ![]() in fact...the motor has looked fine. cept for the potential oil/coolant wash on my pistons. have yet to bust out the feeler gauge for em. ![]() ![]() |

shit...im actually debating weather or not to use those pistons still...i mean...its kinda bare (stupid of me?) how i placed them in there...i took a towel and laid them on that now..but...meh...

i also decided to take apart the valve train
****ing forgot to measure installed valve height though...*sigh* ![]() also i used one of these to pop out my keepers.. ![]() is that tool fucked up!?!? i mean..i sure as hell banged em off of my head >< if youve ever used one. if not...you place playdoh under the head in the chamber to prevent the valves from opening while hammering the **** out of your retainers. ![]() |

RB25 has LASH type lifters...wtf i forgot where i read someone spouting nonesense about it being hydrolic (i know i spelled it wrong..please correct me. my auto spell cant even fix that haha ) ![]() ![]() |

whats gayer is that these pucks dont even have ability to pop off the top for shimming. lack of engineering on nissans part? or was it its a freaking rb25 well only bother for the 26..coz the 25 was a motor for the skyline that went grocery shopping not touge
cant be... heh heh heh nissan must be confident that the pucks dont wear down. really though this whole motor looks like reg wear and tear..cept for some lines on my cyl walls...i dont have a pic atm |
