it's not that they couldn't install it back then, more like, they messed up installing it and claiming they couldn't.

here's the email i received from Zenesis about what they messed up:

Additionally, the damage that was caused is not repairable and thus the reason why we were going to replace the brain.

Again, the parts have been replaced and everything should be brand new, but I haven't even opened to check.
