i think the tire selection is bugged.. I bought tires for my fc but i cant even change em for some reason, I was wondering why my car has mad oversteer and its because im still on comfort tires..

In the main menu, go to Items, on the way left.
See if your tires are there.

I accidentally said "No" on installing a turbo on one of my cars and it ended up in there.

It's funny reading the first post on this thread, made back in 2007, that says it's inevitable that GT5 will be released within the next year. We were all so hopeful back then, but so naive.

It's easier to drift in GT5 than it was in GT4, especially on the controller.
I don't have a good place to mount my steering wheel in the room where I have the big TV, so I've been just drifting with the controller.

I think it's pretty simple, it's really snappy and annoying if you have sticky tires up front and bad tires in the back though.
And I just stick to using Comfort Soft or Sport Hard/Medium

I love the new Cape Ring Periphery track.
Here's me linking some corners, you can see that I'm not countersteering that much most of the time.

as of right now and the little upgrades to my FD, it is pretty darn hard to drift as opposed to gt3, but I think with better suspension settings and tires and what not it wont be as bad. at least i hope so. drifting on gt3 was damn easy but the physics werent realistic as it is on gt5.

Dam.. I tried putting hard tires on the rear as well but mine just spins out the whole time. if i just try to even turn alittle it would 180.

you really need to play teh games with a steering wheel and a decent monitor to see this game. Ever since i got into sim racing , i really lost interest in console games since they are typically dumbed down for general gamers *grid etc* but this one steals the cake for now.

Turn off all the driving assistance, traction control, abs etc.. only pussies drive with those on lol

how do you guys put music on the ps3? i never really messed with that feature.

Those look good and all, but I think the fact that 8/10's of the cars in the game don't look like that, and look like this...

Are a major part of the reason I won't buy it, even after playing the series since game one.

8/10 of the cars in the game aren't worth using anyways.

Just stick to the premium cars, they are better anyways. I haven't even went into the used car lot on the game, and probably never will.

Premium cars are where it's at!

its because in drifting has been built in forza 3 for you. unlike in gt series i would say YOU HAVE TO TUNE IT TO DRIFT hence the name SIMULATOR.
