If he can make a video and break out a Sword of Damocles reference, I'm sure its nothing for him to crack open a thesaurus. Most people can't stomach wordy, alliteration rap for causal listening and that's old style rap that has been beat to death since the 80's through the 90's and early 2000's.

Big concepts and small words. Just like Jay-z opts for rap you can listen to easily versus rapping in hieroglyphics which he is perfectly capable of doing.

Now that I dwell on your comments you have no clue what you're talking about and you have a false shallow stereotype of what "gangster" is. George Bush is a gangster, JP Morgan was a gangster. "Gangster Rap" is a made up term by the media to embellish the "East Coast vs West Coast" beef and the real life events of the early 90s. The term that made it easy to criminalize rap as the cause and not a result of the situation. The same way they blame Marylin Manson's music, and videogames for Columbine. Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac didn't identify themselves as gangster rappers. They were telling the story of what goes on around them.

Furthermore, I could argue that Lil Wayne is the biggest country "rockstar" in the world. Not in the sense that he makes music that fits in what you believe is the country genre but Louisiana is about as "country" as you can get, and he has more of a "rockstar: I don't give a f*ck attitude" than just about everybody in music.

I think he said what he meant pretty clearly, and the responses to his comment displayed that Kanye is less-than-overly lyrical by choice not because he lacks a vocabulary.

How clearly the guy expressed his opinion about Kanye's wordplay and swearing was even emphasized by the "fuck" that he used.

How hypocritical is that? If you're such an opinionated master-bebater why even use the F word when trying to get your point across? For this same reason, rap artists use swear words.

Which brings me to your last question of how my comparison which is addressing the lack of consistency between you (or the people that hate Kanye for Taylor Swift) and the idolization of Taylor Swift as a pure innocent "tactful" angel. In short words; You (or the people that hate Kanye West for Taylor Swift) are a hypocrite. If she's having hot steamy sex with her boyfriends then shes NOT that sweet innocent girl with super high untouchable morals that you all paint her as(and she plays up). If you can accept her with her breached morals, you should be at least be able to move past Kanye's asshole move that he made for the sake of the art to enjoy a great album. Everybody's messed up, if you've bought from Nike or Walmart you helped put children into sweatshop labor. I can appreciate this very much Eric. I feel the same way about people in my life. I have strong morals and ethics and a high level of respect for people.

I don't know why though that I just don't care what Kanye does in his personal life enough to effect his music.
