I did have a tripod, but its made for stills.... So the head was binding during panning and there were some times I HAD to handhold it. I don't need just a tripod, I need a steadycam AND a gimbal head tripod haha - someone throw me 800 for a merlin and another 300 for a manfrotto.... Also, don't worry about losing the track. There are a few people who might be idiots, but just stay in touch with us, we'll make sure everything stays legit so we can run a few days this coming summer.

Those sexy ass bearing swivel head tripods that cost like 5000$ are amazing.
My shitty walmart one binds all day but if you take it apart and put grease on the joint it helps
