Doing RB26 in my s14 SE! Need help please!

Ok I have a s14 and a brand new RB26. I was wondering what it actually takes to install this in my car? I was told I can bolt up a RB25 transmission with it, but do I have to change out the rear or anything like that to get this in? I really need a good tech that really knows what he is doing to comment on this please. Just give me any information or site possibly that talks you through it. Im trying to see how much I am really getting in to with this. I alread have done two sr20det swaps perfectly but never an RB... Really want this done right.

That was stupid, buying a motor for a complicated swap and not doing any research prior.

Wow you picked one the more complicated swaps as a first time swap..... that was dumb.

Maybe you should have bought a used RB26 instead of buying a BRAND NEW RB26 that way you could have paid a shop to swap it for you, Unless your referring your RB as a Fresh Rebuild.

Anyway be prepared for flaming, since this kinda stuff has been done for many years and there is a good amount of info on the web. I even remember some Magazine doing an Indepth swap guide.

but serious though,

When you install the clutch be sure to apply some grease to the clutch disk for the break in period (Its strictly an RB thing)

Just curious how did you come up with that screen name?
BTW if your asking on how to do a rb26 swap you F%cked up big time especially if the motor is new. Look on the bright side you'll have perfect compression. Take your car to a reputably shop thats done the swap and have them do it. BTW there gonna rip you a new one with the labor charges. You sir have made my day.

I would say search or google, but you couldn't even do that before you spent money so it would just fall of deaf ears.

But at least I got an ab work out laughing at you.
