Hardline is better than ss lines because they won't "flex" when a lot of pressure is added. This pressure won't be seen unless you have a massive master cylinder and a heavy stage clutch with a lot of spring force. You should be fine, just make sure there is enough "spring" so it doesn't kink when the transmission moves (it slightly moves unless you have solid mounts)

nothing really, it does feel a TAD bit more soft and the engagement isn't as noticable anymore. (it used to go from soft to somewhat harder to push)
