Single stages will NEVER look as good as 2 stage, literally. The ONLY single stage that is really worth a shit is made by Spies Hecker, it still doesn't look as good as base/clear. The reason being is you really can't cut and buff a single stage like you can with a 2 stage, the other problem is you cannot make the single stage lay out as nice as a 2 stage, even with my amazing sata paint guns it just doesnt happen. |

i find single stage metallics to be really annoying and i dont use them. for straight white or simple colors its fair game but with base/clear available i dont see the point in not doing multi stage. also customers pretty much all want a base/clear system, someone on TV told them thats what they need i guess.
