For anyone travelling up there, my little story.

I've got the "pedo bear is watching you" sticker on my drivers side, on the rear window of my S13. My friend and I made reservations at a nice hotel in downtown Vancouver, planning on getting drunk and hanging out with some girls I know up there.

Border guard at 9pm asks us basic stuff, then wants to know about the bear sticker. Randomly selected for a search, including my phone and laptop. Dude searching us explains they've had problems with people with 240's or pedo bear stickers, or maybe both. I read something the San Diego PD put out saying parents should be on the look-out for the sticker, as actual pedos may be using it to communicate with each other.

My ASS! What kind of dude would actually advertise that, its a joke, obviously.

In any case, my friend had a 5 year old shoplifting charge, which got us denied access, even though the charge had been dropped, the Canadians could only see the arrest report. We got searched again by US security, and 3.5 hours later got to drive home.


My buddy had beem up multiple times prior without incident, so the only reason he will now have an issue is because of the GD bear sticker.

When the US security lady asked if there was anything in my car she wouldn't want to find, u replied "You mean something that Chris Hansen wouldn't approve of?". That seemed to make her smile, but she got really pissy after looking through everything. Maybe all the photos of me and my (of age) girlfriend.
