I heard Polyphony lost all their work, which is why it got pushed back. To make the game faster, they just got a bunch of stuff from GT2 and updated the graphics a little. And they had to start from scratch on everything else, which is why I think there's only so little Premium cars.

Have any of you guys played with the course maker yet?

It's surprisingly isn't too bad, not crazy in depth, but enough to make some killer drift tracks. After the 1000th lap of Tsukuba and Trail Mountain, going at it on something completely new is fun.

Give it a try gents. Turn up the section complexity to 10, turn the sharpness of turns to 0, add tons of sections and go at it.

The track is crazier if you change it up between 5-10 depending on the map. just look at the terrain of the next secotor. I have a map with 3-5 minutess of corners and then a long straightaway. soo long.. @_@

Actually, what I heard was Polyphony originally created the game in 720p and planned on making all the car models premium, but halfway through production Sony demanded they make the game 1080p and 3D compatible, so instead of spending more time on making the car models premium and making more tracks, they had to convert what they had completed from 720p to 1080p.

i wasnt too thrilled about the 3D. 36(?)in tv or a 58.

Really? I don't know why they didn't start at 1080 in the first place, but I think the 3D could have waited till later or something. That sucks still.

Anyone wanna try some auto cross ? i figure.... go on top gear track... then mess with the cones or just try to make a path in them...start at one end when the timer gets to a certain time and then start and when you finish you just count how many seconds that was.. or mins..

For some reason if i create a new room.. i cant open one in top gears track ? idk why... unless i have to do the lotus race on special event.. i hate that race but ohh well.

I do it every once in a while but I haven't really practiced it... I enjoy doing the 360 more or going full sideways from the end of the pit lane to the first turn on Tsukuba
