what kind of coilovers are you on to do that with? don't tell me Stance or PBM because I have both of them and they don't have that much lower adjustments.

unless of course you preloaded the hell out of your coilovers, which you are not supposed to do. or you didn't measure at all and just came up with those numbers.

Hawaii gets snow, its a pretty regular occurrence especially on the tops of the volcanoes during the winter ... i visited around Christmas-time once, it was interesting

kw competitions... i took quick measurments and can do so again and take pics. springs are not preloaded. 7/5 spring rates with helper springs... Coilovers were extremely short to begin with, compared to GR-2 struts...

also i am not very low at all, my aero makes me look low but the frame rails and the stock side of the car are high.

to the dude above: i run F:225/40 R:235/40 on 9.5+20 rears sit nicely without any real stretch, fronts have small stretch but nothing extreme.

215-40 front
and 235/40 or 245/35 for the rear depends on how much camber low and pull you have

s14fbs wat kind of tires are you using, that must give you some nice stretch. i dont plan on running too much camber, may -1.5 or somewhere around there.
thanks

he doesn't actually have those sizes, but he's telling you because we told him about those sizes.

i think* i know what wheels you bought....

anyways.... u should do 215/40+18 + 235/40-18 or maybe like 225/35-18 + 235/40-18. if u wanna get really crazy maybe try a 225/40-18 in the back, but it'll look* small, but it's certainly possibly with a ns-II or feddy.

seems like the helper springs have a bit of load on them if that's how you put it on the car. the helper springs should not be compressed at all when there is no load on the coilovers, because when the car is on ground/static, the helper springs compress all the way down anyways.

cool beans though, never met anyone that used KW coilovers on a 240 before, how is the ride on them?

yep its a rare thing, I was going to go with PBM since theyre local to hometown but the people in college convinced me to get good stuff since they are SCCA heads. did some research then these went on sale and took them... they ride super nice for daily driving. each click makes a huge difference. ill see how they do in auto x in a few weeks, compare them to my old shock set up then. They are valved for drifting which makes them a little stiffer than typical KW but still very comfortable.

Ill look into the helper springs thing aswell. from the pics, is just the rears that seem preloaded or the fronts aswell? Because the springs were loose enough to rotate them when they were off but not loose enough that they had up/down movement... ill figure it out next break since i want to try out the extra springs which are 10/8 instead of the current 7/5.
