My first squadron the 357th FS Dragons out of Davis-Monthan, Arizona.



We also housed the A-10 West Demo team, here' pretty boy doing his thing.



And pretty boy's chromed muzzle.

The results of countless rounds fired, if only pilots had to wash their own jets!






Weirdly enough, my second squadron, 25th FS Draggins in South Korea.










A-10s are sweet and all, but I'm pretty much ready to be off this jet next year.

Oh yes, Phantom Ray. Too bad it's just a mock-up though. Same with the Global Hawk. I don't think they will display real ones at public shows for a while.

I was hoping someone was going to bring that up! I always had a small fetish for Sukhoi's multirole aircraft development during the cold war. The thrust vectoring on the SU-27, 33 and 37 is just incredible, not too mention the jaw dropping Pugachevs Cobra maneuver. Apologies to the op for going a little off topic, I could not resist.

Wow, you'd think they'd take better care or atleast sprucen up that A-10. I've seen alot better static displays of Hogs than that one. Unless ofcourse they're just trying to keep it the way it came out of commission.

ya dude your plane is being phased out! Its going to be replaced by... ya i bet not say! but crusing speed is like .72 and top speed is like .99 not even mach!!!!! but its cool though had to learn about this planr for my FMF PIN! how about those HARM missiles!

Loaded F15C/D/E and F16C/D and the A10

The A10 and B52 are not going anywhere, the F15E won't be going anywhere, but all the other birds yea pretty much toast!!

I've heard this before, supposedly the F35 is to replace it, but I really don't see this happening. Speed isn't the purpose of the A-10, its close air support, and very few aircraft still do it with the effectiveness, range and duration that an A-10 can do it and in many different variations. I really don't see them being retired especially since the AF has spent so much getting all the operational A-10's converted to C-Models. I can guarantee you the big A-10 bases are not showing any signs of slowing down, I think I remember hearing some ridiculous that A-10's will still be in the fight until 2030-2040.
