my sr is stroked to 2.2l with an 88mm piston, going to a 89-90 MAX would require resleeving and bring you to 2.3, i havnt heard of anyone having bigger than a 90 if that answers your question, also when going past the stock rev limit, dont trust the stock lifters, from personal expirence your powerband will end right around 7500 so theres no point in going to 8

Are you using 88 mm pistons and stock sleeves? How much power you making?
