your schematic and the damage tell two different stories. too much direct front end damage to have a side impact as you show.
basically the subi driver didn't want to let him in,and the rx driver didn't wana give up. and they crashed. both could of avoided this accident just one had to give...

but no... obviously both parties would rather crash then press the brakes. everyone sees this all the time people trying to be "tough" with their cars!
