If you want an RX-7, be prepared to have your car sitting on your driveway doing nothing or sitting at a shop because shit tends to break after a while. Reliability is an issue. Yea, it's great for telling people, "Yea, I have an RX-7 and it's fast", but if it ain't going nowhere, it ain't worth it. RX-7 turbos seem like weekend cars rather than something you depend on to commute to and from work or school. The MR-2, well, the mid-engine is a bit hard to work with and the aftermarket parts for 'em cost more than most cars. Fun cars nontheless and have TONS of potential to be extremely fast street cars, plus they look SO #### nice. They're just not too practical for anyone new to cars to tune. Now the 240SX, slow in it's stock form, the only way you can get it to "truely" go fast is a turbo kit or an SR20DET. Other than that, it's also a fun car to drive, cheaper than the other cars you were considering, and easier to maintain and work on.
