Check the interior thread, there's a guy that posted one a few weeks ago. Looks a lot better than I thought it would.

I wonder if anyone considered completely stripping their dash down to the hard plastic and then putting one of these down instead of over the shit that was there before.

there would be a small gap that may cause it not to sit right. They're molded over the existing dash, so it's 'bigger' the the dash itself... but who knows, could be just enough to work.

thats what makes me think it might work. like maybe if you did it just right with the vents out and everything you could get those edges glued down in some way that made it look like the original and then just cut any excess if needed.

Well it depends if its between the wheel and spring perch or wheel and shock body.

All I can say without seeing a pic is that you should be fine as long as its below the spring perch.

Buy cover, measure thickness with micrometer. Find brown dash in junkyard, shave thickness of pad off poopy dash.

Just an idea Wake. ;P

That looks like the water feed line??!?! Your turbo should have 4 lines Oil In (top) Oil Out (bottom) and then water feed and return (the sides).

Is it ok to replace front tension rods brushing with the energy bushing one, or buy an spl tension rod. I've read it causes your tension rod to twist . I only daily drive mine . I have the byshings already, just don't want to mess up something.

s13 New here.. Hi! , plus need brake light help

Hey all I've just signed up.. Kinda new to silver's .. I own a s13.. I found one brake light flicking on and off to find the connection wasn't screwed in tight enough.. I did that and noticed water sitting in there.
I noticed the other side was brighter than the side I had just looked at.
How can I make this side as bright as the other?
The brighter side doesn't seem to light up when the brake is on though, the dull side just looks smoked but shines bright when foot is on the brake.
Would it be globes? Connections? A fuse? Or would it be the water that was in the smokey side??
Feel free to email me your answers.

A clean shop towel, if you're really worried about it then maybe some saran wrap.

Ok, i'm having some wiring issues with my alternator...does the white(to relay box), and the battery white go to the same prong... and then the small 8mm bolt is for a ground wire?

Hey, I bought some OEM pignose 180sx half clears, and I'm currently running them on my Silvia. I had to use the harness from my old signals and put them in the half clears to be able to use them, but I only have the amber bulb in since my old harness was a single bulb. I thought the rectangle half clears were supposed to work on Silvia and 180sx.

Any tips on how to wire things up so I can have the clear bulbs act as parking lights (like on Kouki S13's) and the amber as signals?

Pic for reference...

Thanks!

you probably have corrocion in your wriing from the water, which is causing resistance and making one side dimmer. You can hook up the light from the other side and see if it does the same thing. if so you may need to wire in a new circuit, upi can find the corrosion and get in front of it.
Use a ohm meter if you know how.

I use black drawstring garbage bags for my motors/heads. Never had anything get in them.

Thanks!
Basically depending on how you have your silvia corners wired its not hard.
You just have to do some splicing. If you want me to explain in detail or make you a diagram for your specific setup, just pm me.

Basically you have to wire your oranges backwards so they blink on but are off with headlights on, and yo uhave to wire your clears to your old side marker circuit or your silvia corners depending on your current set up.
