rear ball joint leaking

is it possible to replace the rear lower ball joint on the lower control arm? or i'm i better off buying the whole arm with a good ball joint? i read that it couldn't be replaced but wanted to confirm.

You need to replace the whole unit

Rear lower control arm ball joints cannot be replaced

yes this is true. both of mine are leaking do to a cheapa55 ball joint remover i was using. it ripped both boots. i need to get new janks. i got quoted 240 for both at the dealership. i should have jumped on that deal.
