In my possession is this shaved KA valve cover that I keep considering having powder-coated, but I am not sure whether I like shaved valve covers or not.

Lace Patterns........ hellyeah!
Havent seen this done in years.
Had ghost patterns done in this style on an Elcamino, it was back in like 94'.

I forgot the exact paint codes, I just used rattle cans from autozone, dupont paint...the gold is a ford color, some sort of sand color, like from a ranger. The black is a gm color. I cleared it all with rainbow color effects clear. The lace came from an old table cloth, lol

I think it will...i think the color was maybe a sand gold color...either way, it looks good on my pink s14...imo at least.

Yup! It's all in the prep. I didn't prep my engine bay very well cuz I got a little lazy and rushed it, so it has a few chips, but just from dropping stuff while working on the car, lol

You don't need high temp paint for the valve cover. Regular car paint in a rattle can works just fine. Just be sure to sand the valve cover good and wipe it down with some lacquer thinner before you spray it!
