So I got a '95 180sx imported from japan.

Came with an RS*R catback, but still stock downpipe, testpipe.

I just want to know what most people use for downpipe/testpipe on their sr20 blacktops.

Don't want a cheap one that is sure to crack, but also don't need the big brand ones like hks and such.

So what do you recommend? oh and yeah has to be 3"

I had the PBM flexcobra, a little on the pricey side but I NEVER had any problems with it bottoming out on things and only had a couple of scratches on it. Not to mention the quality is amazing! (Drove 70 miles a day for work for about 2 months)

+1 for flex. Replacing SR turbo gaskets sucks.

Phase2 sells a CS downpipe with a flex section. I haven't seen it myself personally, but I'll probably get one the next time I order from Wayne.

I have a Megan DP with a flex section and it does its job.

I'm pretty sure you won't really notice a difference between a cheapo one and a super expensive one. The important thing is that the DP has to come with a flex section or else you might end up f*cking up your piping or something like that.

Flex pipe ones are pointless if your car is low, unless you have one with the flex section in the neck like the PBM cobra pipe.

On that note, I've NEVER heard of any downpipe cracking due to poor quality/metal.

Blitz DP to Intense power resonated test pipe, works fine and super cheap

No flex section though, only complaint on the blitz unit

i currently have rs-r downpipe on my car nd its like MM away from my floor..are ther eany other DP that have better clerence with the floor? or should i say frame rail?

My downpipe has no flex and it hits my floor -.- but it's pretty good. Check your local forums for downpipes
