![]() with a Seal remover tool. OR...bend a flat head screw driver's edge 90 degrees[one that's got a messed up tip preferred] and use that as a remover tool by yanking on it.

X2, I was surprised this wasn't the first response. Once you've pulled a seal with one, you'll never mess with any other method. Not to mention, a seal puller is a convenient tool to keep around any garage.
