Thing i dont understand is the Alt is fairly new..Could it be a vacuum?

There are JDM engines sites up and down the internet, but does anyone know of a place i can try to buy a stock ass KA24DE motor anywhere? perferably not remanufactured, because those cost arms and legs. but just a nice used engine that runs fine and works.

thanks in advance,
It's very low, 16-23 in-lbs (on an S13). But tightening that bolt doesn't move the caliper. That bolt screws into a sliding pin. You should be able to press in the sliding pin by hand unless it is seized up.

Why is it, that when a 240 has a body kit on it's called 'aero' but when a civic has one it's just a body kit?lol

Because some of us have taste and try to buy genuine aero. And in most cases civic owners buy knock offs with no actual aerodynamic qualities.

The originals of most brands that make drift/race stuff for our cars actually used wind tunnels at one point in time for their design work.

Also nissan like to call their wing/lip/skirt/valance packages the "Aero" package. They still call it that on G35's

I thought that I would have needed to buy a supra exhaust and do other things to get it fited properly. So the s14 exhaust will bolt right onto the 2jz?

I just remembered I can use any off the shelf exhaust but I will need a custom crossover to fit the factory cat.

ProTip: Find a place local to you on there. Then go down there and have them order it and pick it up there. Far cheaper then shipping.

Hearing a "clanking sound" on the front when im in reverse and press on the brakes... first thought was brake calipers not bolted or torqued correctly... i checked and confirmed twice.. calipers are snug and torqued to specs... still having issue afterwards..... but only does it when im going in reverse.... any input guys? thanks

Specs on Car:
fairly new stock single pot calipers (2months old)
replaced OEM rubber lines
new pads (2months)
hubs are on good condition( no play)
Coil-over are bolted and torqued to specs...
running stock SE wheels up front.

possible that it could be subframe bushing? OEM rubber cracked ones can be sneaky upon just a visual check. Get out the pry bar and try to get it to move around some in there and hopefully u found your culprit.

HERES MY QUESTION- ok I searched and could not find if I could bolt up my r32 trans from an rb20det to my 95 Ka24de. Im thinking either bellhousing or clutch engagement dimension etc might give me some trouble not sure , thnx

noise is coming from the front. so your may confuse it with the from cross-member, and from i see... front cross member has no bushings, its just straight to the frame...

Anybody have an aftermarket washer fluid reservoir/pump? I'm trying to keep my bay clean but I feel like the car should have this since it's a DD.

tension rods, your bushings are toast so they are moving back and forth.
