Hey guys, I'm trying to organize a meet in Lake Charles on Aug 13. Yeah, it's a little soon but any later and I'm sure people wouldn't be able to make it do to school reasons. It will be at Prien Lake Park in order to accomodate a bunch of folks/cars. The time will be 9am-til. Everything is first come/first served so the earlier the better. There are bbq pits if you want to cook or just bring sandwiches, or go to one of the many fast food places around. Also, the park has a small water park if you want to bring children. I'm going to be spreading this on a few different forums so I'm hoping for a good turn out. Spread the word and let's make this happen.

Yes, like he said. You're better off on NOSR. Also, we just held a certified LWA meet last night in Baton Rouge. We set these meets up through word of mouth and facebook events usually for locals and they are certified by LWA. It's good that you are wanting to support the scene and the LWA name, however you need to contact us through the LWA facebook page (best way) before posting about a meet with the LWA name in it. For now, you can try and create a meet no problem but I would remove LWA's name from the title until you contact the the owner.

If it was later I might try and make it. Our local forum is for northern LA/TX. 318racing.org. We have meets once a month normally 20-40 people.
