dont get it?
hey guys i'm new to the forum and the 240's. I Just got my first 1995 240sx and the previous owner had 225/40/18 tires in the front and 265/35/in the back. i thought it was better to have the bigger tire in the back? should i keep it like that or go 40's all the way around?

Go read up on tire sizing. The 225/40's are narrower but have a taller sidewall relative to its width. The 265/35 is a lot WIDER but to make the height look even with the fronts they chose a "shorter" sidewall. I think 245/35 are the ones with the most similar height to 225 but IDR.
And no, its not a drift thing, staggering is usually in RWD vehicles to get the most traction out of the wheels putting down the power.
