People that are ok with these kinds of statements are the reason Hollywood puts out shit movies.

He is aware of his shit movies.
And if you watch JCVD, you can see he is really trying to turn over a new leaf.
Apparently he asked Sly for the script numerous times, so he could see his character and what it was all about.
Sly never gave him a script and instead just kept saying, dont worry about it, we are gonna make so much money off this.

So he turned it down.

Thats the funny part. One, I knew I was going to go see a pointless movie with a shit-ton of explosions. It was what initially drew me to watching it. It reminded me of an awesome late 80s early 90's action flick.

Now when you bring up Jerry Bruckhiemer shit, then yeah. THAT would be a good example of shit movies.
