Ok you guys are all confusing the platinum blue with something purple. Looking at pics doesnt help, but that model is also supposed to be platinum blue.
If someone got the original JDM brochures they should have all the color options. I plan on having Ki_JDM_ds find me some but I cant justify spending the money until my car is on the road. This is one page of a zenki silvia brochure. But doesnt shed anymore light on the situation. ![]()

"Purplish silver", as Nissan calls it, is 1K4, and is not on the brochure you posted. That is the color of the car I posted (so sayeth the firewall tag). Perhaps, like lavender frost metallic, purplish silver was a one-year color, and not of the year that the brochure you posted is from. OOH. I just found some neat shit on an Aussie forum. "1K4 = dark grey metallic (463) + purplish silver (LH1)." Soooo... if purplish silver is LH1, and misty blue metallic is also LH1, then it stands to reason that purplish silver is called misty blue metallic here in the States. Neato. I could be wrong, but that's just going by Nissan's own paint codes. Feel free to make corrections to my statements and whatnot. I slept for about 3 hours last night, and have been up now for 20, so my brain may not be working right. haha |
