Bought this same filler as well, however, while the outer diameter may be 1.25" on everything, the thickness of the walls on the stock radiator, 16V/Scirocco radiator, and the filler all vary, thus resulting in different inner diameters.
The inner diameter of the inlet and outlet on the stock radiator is 31mm, while the 16V radiator is 28mm, and the walls on the inline filler are really thick, and so the inner diameter is only 26mm. Will it be safe to use? |
