so i recently looked into making my own front lip i was just wondering if anyone on here has done this. majority of diy lips are garden liner or garage door liner. which is better and easier to install?
jw because im thinking of mounting one on myself. looks good if done right

any words of advice is greatly appreciated. =]

nice! thanks for the pic. im debating if i should use that same lawn edging, but i think ill try and drill it to the bottom of the bumper instead of right in front

Purchased 89-90 front lip from wrecker for $9.00 Installed on 91-94 bumper.
Yeah... kind of hard to beat that anywhere.

I'll give you a summary on Home Depot front lips.

Version 1 - Garage door trim

Version 2 - Garden Edge

Version 3 - Diamond Lok (hard plastic garden edge)

Version 4 - Corner protector. This is my idea and my car. I was bored one day, so tried it and it came out pretty good. It's clear, so I wrapped it with a sticker sheet. I was inspired by lips on GT-R.

i used cove base from home depot. i use double sided tape and zip ties to hold it up..... it didnt look that bad

i was broke..

it ripped off one day but for 10 bucks ehh..
