Resonator for 3' blastpipes.. Would that help so it can be alil quiet?

So I want to get 3' blast pipes, my car has a sr20det
And was wondering if I put a resonator would it make it sound alil more quieter since I know blast pipes are loud..

If u can help me what kind of resonator should I buy nothing expensive just something that would help it be alil quiet

my magic eightball says "yes"

vibrant performance makes pretty decent resonators. A friend just had a custom fabbed exhaust blast pipe-style with one muffler style resonator where the cat used to be. Its still pretty loud, but it would be louder without it.

I would have to agree with this. A resonator isn't going to quite it down as much as it will smooth the tone out. Either way its going to really loud.

I use to have straight 3" pipes on my bluebird with a 3" reasonator, it made it a little quieter but not street legal quiet.

Man go to a muffler shop, they will set you up with a custom glass pack bottle muffler that can be welded anywhere in your exhaust. Hopefully they don't rape your bank account.
