The point is the parts have been shipped out defective multiple times and they are yet to fix it.

Plus it's a just a horrbile design.. Amount of thought and testing into that mount? Zero.

Hence my comment about making it yourself instead of buying a simple formed and slotted plate.

At the time of purchasing these mounts, I was under the impression of "plug and play" installation. I did not have the time to make my own mount. Of course if i would have known of the issues I eventually had, I would have made my own mount.
