Well, after year of contiplating I finally bought a commuter car. 1990 INFINITI M30 !!! YEAH, LEOPARD BABY! it's definately a fixer upper, mostly cosmetic, dented rear driver side panel, interior gets about a C-. I'm enjoying it though. Power everything, leather seats,ect. The first modification will probably be suspension and wheels. I'll have pics up in a couple of days.

Def a nice beater car for the commute, even the Maxima from that time was pretty dope. Id rather get a old school Subaru or e31 BMW...

M30? Thats a FR VG30E platform,right? Hmm....any other specs/info? Sounds cool at least,and you can't beat an Infiniti for a beater

Well as far as I know '90-93 Infiniti M30 VG30(E) appx. 165hp engine FR layout front and rear disc brakes =) sonar II electronically adjustable suspension ( can adjust from comfort to sporty.. not much difference though.) I started a discussion on this car almost a year ago w/ dousan and FDMike. Some guys on FA are also chatting up on this subject. Anyways, certain components are interchangable w/ Z31 (1st gen 300zx),R31 skyline,Y31 Common motor swaps, RB series,SR,VG30det or VQ30det, L28, FJ20et

What color is it? Black with a deep chrome lip wheels and low slung body kit would look so hardcore but, since you said its a beater....

M30/Leopard parts are hard to come by, even in japan. good luck.

Sure, its not identical. But doesn't it use the same v-6 that the older z's use to use? The VG platform?
