s14 Big Brake Upgrade
I'm currently working on doing a larger brake setup for my kouki s14 and have already bought the aluminum z32 calipers for the front and back... i have heard that it is possible to use Supra TT rotors on our cars coupled with the z32 rotors, has anyone heard of this conversion?

I know of a company that makes brackets to relocate the 300zx calipers so you can accomodate 3000GT VR4 12.5 inch rotors.

Check out HCI magazine. This month's issue is exactly that. Supra TT rotors (which are larger than even 300zx rotors) and 300zx calipers.
Underground-Motorsports is doing the whole project and the write up is spot on. Check it out. |

If your wheels barely clear Z brakes now do not do those. They all push the caliper out (3000GT rotors put it it just a little less than 15mm further out... the others are similar.), which would require getting spacers.
Check these out instead...Bling bling . 12.75" Skyline GTR rotors with the exact same caliper clearance as Z brakes. ![]()

Damn Boy, with that setup the paint will fly right off your car!! Don't forget your not trying to stop a 3400 lb 300zx or a AWD 3000GT, you're stopping a 2800 lb little monster!! It does look tight as hell though!! I have 18's and I got the front 300zx conversion and it looks really clean and like it belongs there. I really want to do the backs to match someday. Good luck.
