By the end of Monday High Hopes was on the suspension off of Bastard Child

I had two days of all day track time at exotics so I didn't have a chance to get back to it until Thursday.
Another early morning was spent looking at this.
So in order to get this down to a weight where one person could handle it I unbolted everything and made it a bare subframe.

I then took the front and rear subframes along with the power steering rack out to the street to power wash them.

While the rear was out in the street I cut out the old bushings and installed power by max raisers

This was a pain to install without a second set of hands and not have a central point to jack up the subframe with. So I ended up laying on my back and he-manning it up by force and I was lucking enough that I could use my knee and one arm to hold it in place while grabbing a nut with my other hand.
Final result...

So I packed up the garage and headed to DDS Performance to work on these...
A full Drift Works knuckle setup.

I unbolted the rear axles and hubs off the stock rear spindles and did a weight comparison.
stock- 12.2 pounds

DW- 11.2 pound so I save a pound

the front DW- 8.3 pounds

the stock front spindle however is a pound lighter even though I didn't take a picture of it.

So here are the rears with everything bolted on.

The front won't be done for another week or so. I'm sourcing S14 front LCAs and 5 lug hubs.

I did a little work last night getting the suspension rods on and the wheel jacked up to check the geometry correction at the height I want to run at.

BOOM!

I like that the raisers gave me a little more correction then needed. So now the arms are a little slanted up which is awesome because under power the arms will level out.

I did run into a huge problem with them however. Because I'm adding a lot of correction in the rear the Kei Office coilovers cannot compensate in the up direction. So talking with Odi from Feal Suspension I'm doing measurements and we think the car will have to run a S14 suspension set up to give me the ability to adjust the ride height up more.

Well that's it. I'm actually cutting into my garage time writing this so I got to get to work on pulling the dash out of high hopes and moving the pedals over.

That's what I have so far. More work has been done I just have to get the photos loaded and a post written up.
