basically what herbie said. but the way you gain power in a car is generally to get more air in and out of the motor (intakes, exhaust, turbos, superchargers... all just about air). so when you have more air going in to the motor, you need to be able to feed the air with the right amount of gas. bolt ons (exhausts, headers, intakes, etc) aren't changing the air flow that dramatically so bigger injectors are pretty much never needed just for bolt ons, nor will you gain power from them. your factory injectors can spit out more gas than your car should ever need, even with every bolt on in the world on your motor.
however, you could put something like an SAFC on your stock motor (with stock injectors) and maybe get a little more power out of the car if you have someone thats good a tuning. it also depends on what motor you have too. some motors are optimally tuned for power by the factory. some have a little more tuning room for improvement than others. but even in the best case scenario, you probably wouldn't get more than 10-20 horse just by tuning an SAFC on a factory engine with bolt ons (thats BEST case).
