Got a red one and a pack of sticky back pads. I can only make out from the Japanese instuctions that those are for spacing the base from the body, for painting maybe?
Not sure if the eyelids will work yet... |

I'm strongly considering Version Select eye lids, but I don't wanna completely "copy" Mr. icedsole. I already shaved my front turn signals and sidemarkers with basically the same bumper he has...

I do have hankook V12's in 245/40/18's that I can use instead of the General tires. just gona throw them on there for now to see how they ride for my preference. It wouldn't hurt to just try them out since I already have them. I know they are tad big for anyone preference but I'm going for square tire setup/non stretched setup all around.
Thanks for all the inputs guys. awww Fuuuuu....just found these and I think i mma have to scoop these up. (2) 275/35/18 & (2) 245/40/18 BRIDGESTONE POTENZA RE050A RFT TIRES

are their rear overs just as good? i know it's a stupid question but i gotta ask-both sides of my rear quarters are dented from previous owner. the pass side is the worst (there was 1/2 of filler used to cover it up). so i either have to hammer/dolly/fill it best i can or go with overs. but i don't want wide ass overs just something to cover up (maybe 20mm?).

damn they do look good. just looked at the link and all they have are 50mm rears. i've never been good with the fitment stuff but, i've got 18x9.5 +22 wheels (with a 15mm spacer) on 275/35/40 tires out back...will they look -too- sunk in with 50mm?

What kind of camber settings are you looking for?
The grey car has 17X11 -15 with 255/40/17s and a good amount of camber ~-3.5ish. With ~9mm per degree of camber, you're looking at ~25-30mm of more poke with 0 camber. Your 9.5 +7s are 43mm further in then his 11 -15...so with your tire choice you can probably go up to a 20 or 25mm spacer and run close to 0 camber and be just right.

well i've got a mild camber setting....it's like -1 to -1.5; i'm on fortune auto coils and i had the alignment done at a local shop. i'm not looking for anything extreme since it's gonna be my DD :P does chargespeed make something lower than 50mm? i might missed it lol.
i should add that i already had the rears rolled/pulled-it's just that these overs are looking like a good looking solution to covering up the body damage. |
