I forgot to divide the difference of the witdh, thanks
in an attempt to make this less confusing: 18x8+42 wheel + outter lip that is 2 inches wider than existing lip = 18x10 +18. 18x8+42 wheel + outter lip that is 1.5 inches wider than existing lip = 18x9.5 +22 ^^^ if my calculations are correct Thanks for all the help

.5" of bigger lip = 6.35mm of lower offset .5 of bigger barrel = 6.35mm of higher offset .5" smaller lip = 6.35mm of higher offset .5" smaller barrel = 6.35mm of lower offset 3 x 6.35 = 19.05 (just say 19 or 20 to make it easy). stock +42 - 20 = 22 and then the 10s would be 18x10 +16 offset is calculated by the centerline (half of total width of wheel including wheel beads (1" larger than listed width, so a 10" wheel is actually 11" from outside bead to outside bead)) and the position of the mounting pad of the center. You can't just simply subtract or add offset to the outer lip alone. You need to take into account the total width of the wheel to determine centerline. |

Anyone know what other finish is similar to diamond finish, or a decent priced place that does diamond finish?

I've built numerous sets of multipiece wheels before so it was easy for me. Taking them apart took about an hour and a half. Assembly takes longer as you have to torque each bolt to spec and make sure everything is seated properly. I spent about 1.5-2hours on each assembling them so far. |

^^my C2s are diamond cut faces too, i would imagine it would be costly to have them refinished in Diamond cut, as there is prob a lot of machining involved

I forgot I made this thread.
Can anyone verify my math? lol I tried figuring out what my offsets would be. As I've mentioned a million times. I want my Veilsides widened. All 4 are 17x9 +17mm. I'll be adding 4'' to the rear, on the lip side since they're 3 piece rims. And I'll be adding 2'' to the front. Would this make them: 17x13 -40mm rear? 17x11 -8.5mm front? Or did I f up my math? |

I'm not taking off the old lip.... I'm widening, not narrowing. I'm not taking anything away from the 9''.
I'm adding to the outer lip it as stated. |

Yea your welding is better then your math ![]() For every inch added to the lip size the offset will drop 12.7 mm on the offset so -12.7x4=-50.8 lets say -51+17=17x13 -34 for rear -12.7x 2= -25.4 lets say -25.5+17=17x11 -8.5 for front |

I converted everything to mm, so that's probably how I messed up lol Still pretty tasty wheel sizes. To me at least. |
