Its not the best sub but it works..

i think the super gutter attack..is that he can tranfer the weight of the car over to the opposite 3tires for a while...that way he can fly over the gutter lol...but then he has to get the tire to the other side...or else hell fall in...like the mamiata lol...i jus didnt understand...how he would get his tire back over the gutter again after he crossed over?

Well...I was about to post about this and saw this thread. Well saw both episode 1 and 2. Yes, Bunta's WRX is in the intro....you can drive it in the arcare/ps2 game as well. I did like the intro...but not the outro. I think it was visually stunning!! Compared to stage 1 and 2. You can almost say its like the movie (stage3). Crisp CG and all. Its like the Simpsons...where the earlier seasons, Smithers was asian and then black. ANd Homer looked/souned different...and actually was kinda smart. HAHA. Got love it!

I understood everything....being Japanese helps! Sorry for the rest of you...just wait for the subs. As for the gutter tech. Well kinda has to do with intertia and trasfering the wheight like as for mentioned. With enough momentum and turn in/inertia, etc...its as if Takumi is rolling the car enough to its side enough to where the front right is off the ground. Kinda hard to explain...just watch it..wait for the subs. hahah. But it is a cartoon...dont forget...or you end up like the Miata!! weeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

DRFT, Gunmetal?? Where did you here that? Manga? Yea in the game though, its like more like a purple color. In the anime, its the Wrx sti blue color (dont know the official name). Not sure in the manga though

BT sucks! I dont like it. Too slow of DL and kills me with its UL. I ended up getting it off an IRC chat. So much faster/better imo.

And yes pruto, I know that its the same group, but I stil hate the old op/end themes, especially the First Stage one.. UGH

i can't wait till the 2nd episode sub. I still don't believe Takumi is doing that gutter thing with just weight transfer. I don't think physics works that way. MAYBE to get the wheel over the gutter. But not while you drifting with one front wheel on pavement and one on grass/dirt. Thats pushing it...

you're probably thinking i'm crazying taking this initial d stuff too literally, but usually ID techniques/technical stuff usually have some sort of real world basis. Its usually fun finding out how much of it is real

also, there are some cool sub-character races. like nakazato vs keisuke. ryouske vs evo III. i hope they show some hot FD vs FD action this season thats in the comics.
