Now lets say I wanted to have more of a straight wall rather than a bulge on a 10" wide wheel, I'd go with a 255?

And as for a stretch it would be like a 245?
It depends on the tire, but a 275 is about as square of a size as you can get for a 10" wheel. A 245 on a 10" would be a stretch to me, but not to the stretch guys.... that's nothing to them. Here are some very old pics of my car with 245/40/18 on a 8.5" +32 up front and a 275/35/18 on a 10" +44 out back...

No pics sorry...

Chassis: S14

Current:
Front: 235/35/18 9x18
Rear: 265/35/18 9.75x18

Used to have:
Front: 245/35/18 9x18]
Rear: 275/35/18 9.75x18

I got a good deal on tires so i downgraded, but my next set up will be 255 front and 285 back, should not be a problem since i rand the 245 and 275 set up before rolling the fenders.

Update - Pics below if it helps at all...

This is when i first got the car, with 275 in back, and a 5 or 10mm spacer.

This is how she stands now....

Did you have any issues with inboard clearance with this setup in the rear?

If not, then a 12" wide wheel should fit perfectly with 50mm overs, and using your example it would need to be a +19.

No issues at all on the inside... at least not at that ride height. As I stated earlier, 315's shouldn't be an issue with 50mm overs on an S13.
