I've heard of the swap done on a Z32, I dont really remember cuz it was about... 3 or 4 years ago. But yeah, that would be one beast of a machine. Now all you gotta do is lighten it up... LoL

anything is possible. unless you really like the z32 chasis, go for it. otherwise, any chasis would require almost the same amount of work to mount an rb26 in. however, the z32 is pretty much crammed for space as it is. the z32 chasis looks ok, but it is just too heavy imo. you are better off mounting it onto old school datsuns (ie 240z, 260z, 280z, 510s, 210s, etc.) and it will be smog exempt but if you like the z32 chasis i guess thats up to opinion.

In all honesty bro, if you are dissatisfied with your n/a VG, then get a usdm or jdm vg30dett and throw that in their... The rb is a great motor, but so is the vg. Both have very stong designs, and can both take substantial boost.
The vgdett would be a straight foreward swap, and for the money you would spend on trying to make it fit, custom parts and labor, i mean as it is, the vg30 is already compacted into that engine bay. And with the money that you saved on the swap, you could do some mods to the vg. Just an opinion..
More power to ya brother if you do the rb swap, good luck and hope all goes well.
