Watching Another as well and I like it quite a bit. I haven't read the manga, but I'm assuming it'll be 12 episodes?

Watching Mayo Chiki! at the moment too and I really like it. Nice amount of humor without being too over the top into fan service. Any recommendations for something else similar to this?

that appears to be the case
shame, wish this one had gone at least 26 eps.

The World God Only Knows comes to mind.
Shinryaku! Ika Musume is worth a look.
Ore no Imōto had pretty good moments but the sister/brother thing can be a little creepy.
I also really liked the darker humor of Mitsudomoe but it's not for everyone.

Gurren Lagaan is awesome, though it does the Trigun thing where it starts getting all super heavy later on.

Watching Naruto S2 and up

Did anyone else know that they released a 25th/ last episode/ ova of steins gate like 3 weeks ago??

just watched it and it really ends it perfectly. Its not fan service either its friggin hillarious and ties up some loose ends. It actually kinda works better that they waited a few months to release it after the 24th episode because thats kinda when it would have taken place..

Thanks for the heads up, I didn't know that. Steins gate is probably one of the best shows I've seen thus far.

Thanks for the suggestions as well Mano. Was running out of things to watch!

The serious tone that gurren lagann gets feels natural to me.

Abruptly short with total anticlimax ending and enough fan service to pull you out of what's going on.

I would give it a 3.5 out of 5.

2 out of 5 from me.

It had the potential to be a awesome show but it ended up as a stereotypical anime comedy with Zombies.

I really am getting tired of the "standard character-types" found in most Animes.

HOTD was alright.. Think it's seriously overrated though.

I liked Panty and Stocking w/ Garterbelt a lot more than HOTD

Sure, the animation sucks and the characters can be annoying at times
(not to mention how much better anime production has gotten since)
but at the time it was really cool and grabbed the imagination of would be car people.

Personally, I don't know if I would have found my way to 240s had it not been for it.
I see it now and it's kinda depressing just to know how much influence it had over me.
Initial D has always reflected a simpler and better time imo when modifying Japanese cars was something done mostly by the Asian community. Mainstream white america had no idea that any of those cars existed back then.

That was around the time I started getting into cars
FWD Hondas and drag racing ruled magazines
A few 240s showed up now and then but were mostly seen as oddities
(that HKS s14, the Greddy one with the KA-T kit, the JUN dragger come to mind)
before Drift Tax there was Initial D tax: my brother bought an 86 GTS hatch for $700 and sold it a year later for $4000.
The 240 starter kit back then was a sil80 with meshie wheels.

Anyhow, FMA fans, there's a movie that came out. Air'd in some US/CA theatres not too long ago: Fullmetal Alchemist: Sacred star of Milos. This happened sometime in the middle of the main story, I assume since Al's the armor and Ed's got his alchemy/metal limbs. My impression, art was good like it's always been. Difference is the action art was different and more dramatic, less perfect in the lines, etc... very good imo. Storywise, okay I guess. Got your emotional points like usual, cool fights, slight twist at the end. Mustang was in there but he didn't do $hit. I think it's worth the time if you're a FMA fan.

Bakemonogatari is crazy! I just started watching it and man is it hard to keep up with. My eyes actually hurt from reading the subtitles. There is so much dialog and it goes so fast if you blink you miss stuff. I do like it so far though, its pretty weird but in a good way.

if you like flcl or steins gate you might like this one

somewhat I agree... I hesitate to call it bad but can't really come up with a
good reason to recommend it other than the production value.

You're not joking.. I just picked a couple random titles on Netflix because they were "popular" and ended up turning both off mid episode. It was Shuffle and Air Gear.. both had more than 4 stars, but both were absolutely fucking horrible. Probably because of the horrible dubbing for the most part..

I don't know how Torrents work and am too lazy to try and learn so I just use Anime Season

They have a decent amount of titles, but they're typically edited =/

I've been going back through and watching One Piece on my lunch breaks. It's definitely not as fun the second time around.

Last anime that I watched was Gurren Laggan, which was pretty fucking awesome.

idk why the hell anyone would pay to watch anime online.

it just takes a simply google search, and you can find multiple sites that have it for free.
