Ive searched this sight left and right,

Ive searched this sight left and right, as well as google and I cant find any specific info on building a stronger automatic. I read somewhere that there or stiffer springs for the valve body, upgrade the torque converter, better trans cooler and install 100ohm resisters inline to up the fluid psi...but is that it? if so where can i get and what kind of springs are they? is there anything else a shady tree mechanic can do to make an auto shift harder and handle more power reliably. Im looking at purchasing a rebuilt forged ka and a t3 turbo kit from members on here and like the auto in my car for d.d. purposes. its a 96 240 se btw

dd a 5 speed, its extremely easy to drive stick... also the money youd spend to get a built trans VS a 5 speed with a new clutch you could prolly buy a beater for a DD theres a reason they dont make built autos for 240s, if the tuned ecu is for a manual 240 i believe its a different code ecu for auto so it would have to get retune i believe
